Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
Thy is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with experience working in urban and remote communities across Australia. Over the past ten years, she has practised in family and community mental health settings providing therapeutic support to adults, young people and children.
Thy believes in preventive and early intervention care and brings a warm and collaborative approach to help people make sense of their experiences and find practical ways forward. With children and young people, she centres their voice and helps families develop shared understanding and tools to work through difficulties together. She has a special interest in perinatal mental health and supporting families through pregnancy, postpartum and the early years of parenting.
Thy is trained in cognitive behavioural, interpersonal, narrative and attachment-based approaches. She draws on each person’s strengths, values and support systems, and is informed by an understanding of the broader social context and how it impacts wellbeing.

Thy welcomes new clients. Medicare rebates are available with a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from your doctor. Private referrals are also welcome, and private health rebates may apply – please enquire to confirm your eligibility.
