Marilyn is a clinical hypnotherapist with a Diploma from the South Australian Society of Hypnosis (SASH) This course is led and organised by passionate medical professionals, including doctors and psychologists who regularly use hypnotherapy to facilitate better outcomes for a wide variety of patient presentations.

Marilyn also completed a Masters in Social Science (Counselling Studies) in 2005 and is a full member of SASH and a member of ACA where she continually updates and expands her skills in line with current trends. She is currently working towards accreditation with the Australian Instituted of Professional Counsellors.

Marilyn has worked in the health industry for over 40 years as a Registered Nurse and Midwife.
Interested in the power of the mind and its connection to the body, general health and well-being from a young age, Marilyn finds the power of hypnotherapy fascinating as she supports her patients by using the principles of hypnotic language with her work keeping them at ease during their treatments.

Marilyn’s approach is tailored to each individual, utilising their unique abilities in line with their personal goals and values. Collaborating with them, she guides them to access their hidden skills and resources in their subconscious mind, bringing those skills to conscious awareness, utilising neuroplasticity to wire a new pattern for change.
Using a person centred approach, Marilyn believes that deep within us we ultimately know what is best for ourselves. You can benefit from her assistance to explore options, discover your internal barriers and strengthen a new path to achieve positive changes with hypnotherapy.
