Daniel Haebich – Mental Health Social Worker / Counsellor

Daniel Haebich is a counsellor with over 16 years of experience who holds membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. Daniel supports both adolescents and adults to explore and work through a range of difficulties for example: anxiety, depression, excessive anger, guilt, psychological trauma, grief and loss and relationship difficulties.

Daniel is certainly committed to providing a safe, confidential, and contained place to enable people to explore their inner world. This is done with the goal of helping people to resolve or better manage their problems and achieve self-acceptance.

As a Mental Health Social Worker, he can therefore offer patients a rebate from Medicare when they have an active care plan in place from their Doctor.

What to expect?

An initial assessment is offered and then consequently an individualised plan is developed to assist people to manage their goals. Subsequently sessions are focused on assisting people to better understand themselves, to manage and overcome their difficulties and distress.

Each session with Daniel is client centered and focused on people’s concerns, difficulties but also their strengths. Daniel is committed to evidence-based practice and draws on psychoanalytic and cognitive behavioural therapy thinking in his counselling practice.

Daniel believes that counselling can be a transformative experience that as a result, enables you to achieve greater understanding, peace, connection and health.

Availability

Daniel offers late appointments and will certainly do his best to accommodate urgent matters. Medicare rebates are available with a better access referral from your GP and more importantly, concession card holders will only be charged a $20.00 gap with this referral in place. Daniel services patients in the Belair, Blackwood, Hawthorndene, Glenalta, Coromandel Valley, Eden hills and surrounding areas. Bookings can be made here.
